During the adoption journey one of the biggest hurdles that we faced was unexpected negative opinions on our decision to adopt.

During the adoption journey, its all so easy to forget your birth child and their perspective on your adoption journey because they are "too young".
What we learn, against all the advice that was given to us, was to include our son in our adoption journey and be a part of it. These are memories he still has to the day and openly speaks about.
This podcast is a reflection of our son's understanding, and one of his friends perspective of our adoption journey.

I am a mother of two children, Anay & Siya. My husband Rakesh and I got married in 2010 and we were blessed with our son in September 2015.
In 2017 we decided that we wanted another child, but I was not ready to go through the problems that I had in my last pregnancy, so we decided to adopt a child in need. We welcomed Siya from India into our lives in 2019 and it is a journey I have become extremely passionate about.
